The High School Jazz Festival is the proud recipient of a Jazz.NEXT grant to utilize new online technologies to extend the reach of the annual Berklee High School Jazz Festival to a year-round, interactive, web-based “cyber association” of high school jazz instructors, students, and jazz enthusiasts. Over the last couple months, we’ve begun a process to rethink our website and create a digital space more conducive to sharing ideas and comments about jazz. We are also very open to ideas and suggestions from site visitors and have added a “Suggestion Box” under the Contacts tab to provide more of an open channel for feedback. While a couple portions of the site remain under development, we thank you for visiting BerkleeJazz.org and grooving with us.

Jazz.NEXT and the Berklee High School Jazz Festival

Jazz.NEXT is a national jazz initiative designed to support jazz artists, organizations and presenters through innovative approaches using technology. Berklee College of Music is the proud recipient of a Jazz.NEXT grant to utilize new online technologies to extend the reach of the annual Berklee High School Jazz Festival to a year-round, interactive, web-based “cyber association” of high school jazz instructors and students. Jazz.NEXT support is enabling the development of a new open-source interactive website – berkleejazz.org – featuring online access to student/faculty rehearsal clinics, performance and instructional webcasts and artist/instructor profiles, and streaming of festival performances, among other content.
